Over 1,600 agents put their listings directly with us, private landlords list their home here and often only here, and whatever else is online we add on top. You search in one place, get notified the moment something comes in, and respond directly to the landlord.
How we work
There are plenty of sites that help you find a rental home. Most of them do it by scanning other property sites and passing on what's already there. Useful, but it always puts you one step further from the home. With us, the landlord often place their listings directly. You notice that in four ways.
- You see new homes the moment they're listed
Agents connect their system to Huurwoningen. When an agent adds a home to their system, it shows up on our website immediately. In addition, private landlords lists their home here directly. This means that you can get an alert right after the moment of listing, not when another site happens to find it.
- The listings are complete, and we keep them that way
Four streams come together here: homes from connected agents, homes from private landlords, homes from two home-swap platforms, and rental homes listed elsewhere online.
How our listings come together
- You respond directly
Your message goes straight to the agent or landlord. We don't interfere with our own selection or an extra form. That saves time, and the landlord sees you as you are, with your tenant profile attached if you want.
- We check before you respond
A private landlord doesn't just publish. We check the landlord and the listing before the home goes live. In addition, we have hourly automated checks in place to make sure that the homes on our platform are still available. See something that doesn't add up anyway? Report it on the listing page with the 'Tell us button'. Our quality team looks at it personally.

Free and Premium
Searching, viewing listings, saving searches and getting an email when a new home is listed is free. With Premium you can actually respond to listings, have direct contact with the landlord and see how many people already responded. You can try Premium for 14 days for €0.01, after that it's €29.95 a month and you can cancel any month. Landlords list their home with us for free.
Who we are
Huurwoningen.nl is part of TreeHouse, the Rotterdam-based company that's also behind Pararius. Over 70 people work on the site, the listings and customer service. You can reach us by phone, email, WhatsApp and the chat on the website. Our account management team helps agents and landlords present their home well, and a quality manager keeps an eye on every listing.
